Rachel Vanier est née à Budapest en 1988. Après avoir grandi à Lille, fait ses études en hypokhâgne puis à Sciences Po à Paris, s’être échappée à Boston puis avoir crapahuté au Cambodge pendant ses études, elle travaille dans le monde non moins dépaysant de l’innovation et des start-up, entre Paris et San Francisco. Elle est aujourd’hui en charge de la communication du campus de start-up STATION F.
En parallèle, elle écrit sur le voyage, retrace le parcours de personnages souvent anti-héro(ïne)s, et s’intéresse à sa génération.
Après le remarqué Hôtel International (éditions Intervalles, 2015), Écosystème est son deuxième roman. Elle a aussi contribué à plusieurs revues sur l’innovation et tient un blog décalé, dinde.co
Rachel Vanier was born in Budapest in 1988. After growing up in Lille, she took a first year in preparatory studies to read Humanities and studied Political Science in Paris. She escaped to Boston and hiked around Cambodia as a student. She has worked in the equally exotic world of innovation and start up companies going between Paris and San Francisco. She now heads up campus communications for the start up business, STATION F.
Alongside this role, she writes about travel, retracing the tracks of often anti-hero characters that are of interest to her generation.
Écosystème is her second novel following the remarkable Hôtel International (éditions Intervalles, 2015) She has also contributed to several journal reviews about innovation and writes the offbeat blog, dinde.co
